Rural Home Life Field Trips
Students will experience the world of 19th century Florida pioneers by discovering their daily chores and community buildings in person. All students will dip a beeswax candle to take home, and have an opportunity to shop in the Cracker Country General Store.

Long Ago & Today Field Trips

Young learners will explore connections between long ago and today through play, dance, storytelling and hands-on activities. All groups will make and take home a textile craft, learn about history, study the parts of a chicken, explore a 1917 railroad caboose and visit a turn-of-the-20th-century Florida family's cabin.

Cracker Country & Florida Industry Field Trips

Bring your students to learn about Florida's industries as well as everyday pioneer life in our extended field trip adventure!

Students will attend our Cracker Country in the morning and visit our Florida Industry exhibits in the afternoon.
