Junior Docent Program

Cracker Country's Junior Docent program is an opportunity for teens ages 12-18 to become a part of the past while gaining valuable skills and having fun.  Junior docents are a very important part of Cracker Country's docent program.  They depict the lives of early Florida settlers by wearing historical costuming and interpreting rural Florida history at various special events and educational programs.  The Junior Docent Program is a wonderful opportunity for teens to develop leadership skills, to give back to the community, and to meet new people of all ages.  No experience is required, training is provided for all Junior Docents.  If you are interested in this unique opportunity, please contact Jennifer Becker, Program Supervisor, at 813-627-4225 or Jennifer.Becker@freshfromflorida.com.
