Early Craft and Trade Demonstrators Help us provide our guests with a richer portrayal of late 19th century life and craft! Cracker Country is seeking craft and trade demonstrators who specialize in early Florida history for exhibiting skills and arts during the Florida State Fair and weekend public openings. Early craft and trade demonstrators are vital to the success of our educational programs and in exceeding guest’s expectations. It requires museum staff, docents, and demonstrators working together for Cracker Country to consistently provide the top quality programming that will ensure everyone’s success. Qualifications: -Craft and trade demonstrators must exhibit a craft that directly relate to the time period of 1880-1910 in Florida. -Please help us maintain the historical look & feel of Cracker Country by dressing in period clothing from the late 19th century and early 20th century. Cracker Country is a rural Florida living history museum and our mission is to educate guests about Florida’s rich history during the period of 1870-1912.
